What is a Same-Day Restoration?
Typically, it takes more than one visit to the dentist for a dental crown, inlay or onlay to be placed. However, with CEREC technology, our dentists can perform this entire procedure in one easy visit.
The CEREC (Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics) system enables the fabrication of same-day ceramic dental restorations. Our Vernon dentists use CEREC technology to place veneers, crowns, inlays and onlays in just one appointment.
Dental Crowns
These porcelain caps are placed atop teeth to restore their function and appearance. Crowns can be used to restore a discoloured tooth to its natural appearance or to cover implants, attach bridges or help repair a cracked tooth.
Veneers
Veneers are razor-thin, tooth-shaped pieces of durable porcelain which are custom-made, then bonded to the front of your natural teeth to change the symmetry, shape or colour of your smile.
Inlays & Onlays
When damage is too extensive for standard dental fillings, inlays and onlays are used to repair cavities. These tooth-coloured porcelain fillings are usually used for molars.
